Size DOES matter after all... And why I am keeping my T2i
3

My only Canon is the T2i -former owner of a 5D- which I bought new and since I seldom use so it still is in 99.99% new condition. Last week I took some headshots of a political candidate running for major, and I use it with the battery pack and the 50mm 1.4 USM. I am not a professional photographer, I work in my own branding agency but since the candidate is a friend of mine, he was ok with me doing the job.

The candidate, knowing nothing about cameras saw it and told me, "wow that is a nice camera, I guess it deliver the goods". Then his wife and kids arrive for a family shot and I decided to use my Fuji X-E1 with its kit zoom, when he saw it he told me, "Wow, are you going to use that instead of the other camera?" I start taking a few pictures with it and I realised that he was right; there was no need to stop using the Canon, I felt way more confident with it, the white balance was spot on (The few Fuji shots came too yellow and under exposed), the batteries remain full and the IQ of the shots with the 50mm @f5.6 looked amazing.

Just last month I was thinking in selling all my Canon gear to buy more Fuji stuff but now I decided to get rid of the Fuji and buy me a nice 85mm 1.8 and an EOS M/22mm combo instead

Regards, Ricardo (sorry for my english)
