An update after two weeks:

  1. Capacitor in my lamp was dead
  2. Batteries in Yongnous were dead (whatta shame!)
  3. Batteries in the lamp were long dead (shame again!)
  4. My NX3000 firware is 1.02, and the samsung page says latest is 1.01...

I manage the set to be working fine... The YN 603 II Nikon version triggers trigger the lamp correctly, but it's critical to set those attached to lamps to TX and the camera one to TRX (or other way).

It DOESN'T work if you have all triggers set to the same setting: TRX or TX, even tho manual says it should work.

I wish to raise the ratting from 3,5 to 4,5 but it's not possible after two weeks?

Thanks for hints, guys.

P.S.: I love Konica 3.5/28 lens

Hi

I've just bought the NX3000 (and really love it) but I'm struggling to follow this discussion on flash triggers. I'm a bit out of my depth technically and I was wondering if there was a reason why you went for the Nikon version of the YN 603 II? The reason that I ask is because a previous post mentioned using a Canon version of the YN-560 TX.

I'm looking for the basic functionality, size and price of the 603 so I'm tempted to go with your proven solution and other posts I've read seem to point towards the Samsung being more compatible with the Canon hotshoe configuration.

The flash I'd like to use is a YN560 with a standard (?) mount which won't work in the shoe on the camera body (the software doesn't seem to recognise that there's a flash unit attached).

Cheers

Jon

I've tried the yn603rf for both canon and nikon(thanks to Amazon returns) and neither worked so still looking for s solution.

NX3000 (not 300) and I'm wanting a way to get a flash off the camera body. Ideally wireless triggers and a generic speed light (yn560). Please can you help? Thx Jon
