Would be strange if they did now? On the verge of getting real good cameras and lenses with a smaller sensor? Maybe in three years...

NX1 is set to compete with FF? In video maybe. But the real good lenses are so costly and heavy that there is not much advantage over the Sony A cameras? So in the end Samsung could try doing FF cheaper than Sony. After using RX1 for some time, impressed by how much you can change even jpegs, and crop. Will maybe forget NX1/30 and wait for someone to make a real alternative to Sony FF. Might well be Samsung.

Samsung still needs more lenses, but the sesnor is very close to the best FF sensors.  Sony for example is only making F/4 zooms, and F/2.8 and F/1.8 primes.   The NX1 with the F/2-F/2.8 16-60 and the 50-150mm F/2.8 zoom should perform in IQ in most situations.

APS-C will always be more affordable and more accessible as well as potentially smaller and lighter.  If Samsung can make sensors as good as many FF sensors, then going with APS-C is the better plan.
