thank you all of U guys you the Best
I can't buy oly 75-300mm (high cost for me)
ammm the 45-175mm it's very nice lens (compact - high built quality ) but also high price
I know you give me the best zoom lens to choose but Unfortunately, I can't handle the price
I found the pany for 200 usd and oly for 165 usd
but the 45-175 is 2x cost more than pany 45-200
and oly 75-300 also cost more than 2x than the 40-150
so what the best between these 2 lenses :
pany 45-200mm vs oly 40-150mm ??
So the Question is now
PANASONIC 45-200 MM OR OLYMPUS 40-150 MM F4-5.6 .... ???
I am sorry but the pany 45-175 & oly 75-300 out of my range (my budget is limit by to $200 usd)
The Panasonic 45-200 has very good OIS whereas the Olympus has none. The IBIS in the EPM2 is mediocre at best. Also, the Panasonic OIS will give you a stabilized preview which the IBIS will not give you. So, you will be a lot further ahead by buying the Panasonic.
If you do buy the Panasonic, make sure you have Lens Priority turned ON in the EPM2's menu.
I find my copy of the 45-200 to be quite good at 200.

hi thank you Allan
so you have the pany 45-200mm good I have questons for please
did you have test another lens (like 40-150 olympus) compare to 45-200mm ??
I did not buy the Oly 40-150 as it does not have OIS and the EPM2's IBIS is poor. The 45-200 works well on my Panasonic and Olympus bodies.
Why is OIS important? with a longer lens like this, without some form of stabilization, it will be difficult to compose the photo as the image will be jumping around on the screen. The EPM2's IBIS only stabilizes during exposure. The OIS will provide a stabilized image for composing.
did you notic the CA ( Chromatic aberration ) in your photo ?? because the guys here told me this lens has high CA and the Olympus body doesn't have auto correction for CA ???
Your EPM2 does not have auto correction for any lens including Olympus lenses. I see some CA with my Olympus lenses as well.
I have an EPM1 and an EPL5 and use my Panasonic lenses with those bodies.
