T5i Missed one thing in the manual

Pages 75 through 78 in the manual with specific reference to "Ambience" settings in the "Basic Modes" on pages 76 through 78.

The same info is also in the T5i manual on pages 76 through 79.

To answer the original question, no you cannot save the "Ambience" settings.

It states in the manual if you switch modes or turn the power off the "Ambience" setting reverts to "Normal". (Page 77 of the T4i manual and page 78 of the T5i manual.)
