I didn't need another 14-42 kit lens

I was looking for a good deal on an EM10 body for a few weeks and jumped on an open box deal from Roberts Camera in Indiana....$429 with warranty . They had only 2 units available through their ebay store. I stumbled onto the deal at 3 am (don't ask) and the second one was gone by 5am.

Everything looked new, but the box was from a kit lens combo, hence the "open box".

Just keep looking, and be prepared to get out your cash in the wee hours.......

I just received an "open box" E-M10 from Robert's.
It's my third attempt at getting a usable M10 body, and I'm still very frustrated !

1- lens mount is VERY tight, worse than the first one I sent back (to Henry's in Canada)
the tip here is if you might need to return something the additional Customs and shipping hurdles presented by a dealer in another country should be taken into consideration/avoided.
The E-M10 I received came with the 14-42 kit lens which has a plastic mount.
The plastic mount is tight but doesn't bind.
ALL my Panasonic metal mount lenses are so tight on the M10 that they bind or scrape going on and off.
The scraping sound is disturbing enough that I'm concerned about metal filings or dust from the metal mount lenses.

2- I purchased online from "Robert's" but the package came with a receipt from "Used Photo Pro".
As we all should know by now Olympus will not honor a warranty on a used (second hand) camera.
Robert's is an Olympus dealer, but Used Photo Pro is not as far as I can tell.
I suspect I have no warranty, even though a "1 year warranty" was part of the description and selling points.

I need to be able to use my existing lenses and the 14-42IIR doesn't inspire confidence.
(although I understand it's decent optically)

I suppose this camera is going back also. DARN.
