And by the way: How is it with wide angle converters and apertures? The converter changes the focal length but not the physical aperture so I would expect it to behave like an 11mm f1.83 or something. Or has the lens to be stopped down?

My overall experience is quite positive: This converter works as "needed". It won't offer you the same IQ as the Oly 12 2.0, however, for non-professional use it is quite appropriate, I think. It is sharp in the center, but falls of course in the edges. You won't notice this in web-sized usages. It is easy to use, and takes little room in your bag. I am not sure about the aperture, but I don't think it will be "wider" than the original f2.5. Quite the contrary: the additional glass decrease the incoming light a little. But this is not that significant.

Overall, considering the price for an auto-focus 22mm lens you get, it's quite a good buy.
