E-M10 wake up from sleep time
1

I have found that the wake up from sleep time of my E-M10 depends on the lens I have mounted. I didn't use a stopwatch, just tried it several times with each lens and guesstimated. I tried these lenses on the E-M10:

Olympus 25mm f1.8
Olympus 9-18mm f4-5.6
Olympus 14-150mm f4-5.6
Olympus 9mm f8

On the E-M10 they wake up in maybe a bit over 0.5 seconds except the 14-150mm which takes twice as long. I went back and tried my E-M5 and mounted the 25mm and 14-150mm. The 14-150mm took about twice as long as the 25mm.

I would say that on the E-M5 the 14-150mm takes about 1.5 seconds and on the E-M10 about 1 second. It seems that the E-M10 is faster than the E-M5, but it is disappointing that it takes so long for the 14-150mm on both.

I have the eyestart sensor disabled for both cameras. After it goes to sleep I half press the shutter button to wake it up.
