I thought you were referring to the Panasonic zs50 in particular, since that was the camera mentioned. They're available for pre-order on Amazon right now. Neither the S120 nor the SX280 has a viewfinder or provisions to have one mounted.

I said S120 with viewfinder since the LF-1 uses a similar sized sensor with a similar in speed Aperture. It's also roughly the same size.

So basicly it's a S120 but with a longer lens and built-in viewfinder. Considering everyone voted for a viewfinder this is just a better buy for those people

The ZS40 has a smaller sensor with a longer zoom lens. so therefore a SX280 with viewfinder.

The GM-5 is something rather strange. It's a interesting little camera with a expensive price tag.
