I have done just that. I sold my E5 for an E-M1 just over a year ago but kept the 35-100 until recently. I bought the new 40-150mm last month and have not shot extensively with it yet but I do love the feel and handling of it - you can hold the camera and the lens with one hand - so its a LOT more manageable.

Do I like it as much? Its probably as sharp, but I am not sure if it has quite the same magic qualities as the big Zuiko. But then what does? It was one of the best zooms ever made. I could not afford to have both plus I wanted my outfit to be a bit more portable so I would actually take it out more. The extra reach and light weight is a real bonus. The lack of a stop has not bothered me yet, but I have not shot any indoor performances yet.

Last summer I did get a few nice shots with the 35-100mm on my E-M1 which you can see on my Flickr pages, but here are a couple of shots from a show I was working on this weekend taken with the E-M1 and 40-150mm combo, both at 150mm.
