The 135L is said to be the best, and the sharpest L lens Canon makes by many Canon shooters. Or at least that was the case at most a few years ago. I own one, and use don't often use it on my A7R strictly because it spends most of its time on a 6D, but I have used it with a Metabones 3 and it works wonderfully - no issues focusing to infinity.

135L is better than the Nikon. Cannot compare to the Zeiss, but if the Zeiss is indeed better, them it must be one of the best lenses going. For the price, the 135L can't be beat. You'll find them used on POTN frequently.
