I took a few more shots yesterday and this evening with both cameras set at ISO 200, f2.8, center-weighted metering, (except for the last two which were at f3.5 with spot metering).

For the next round of comparisons, use the equivalent settings on both cameras. After all, only the equivalent settings can answer the question which camera better handled a particular situation (provided both can handle it). Which means you need to set 2x f-stop, 4x ISO, 2x FL on your Nikon compared to Olympus. For example, the first picture you shot at f/2.8, ISO 200, FL 100mm with Oly, shoot a similarly framed picture with Nikon at f/5.6, ISO 800, FL 200mm.

P.S. the crop factor isn't exactly 2 due to different aspect ratios, so depending on the cropping that needs to be done to come with the equivalent images, either one or the other sensor would lose some of the light and resolution. If you match vertically, which is often done when using test charts then the crop is closer to 1.85 and some of the Nikon pixels will be discarded, if you match horizontally (more important for landscape photographers and videographers) then the crop is closer to 2.1 and some of the Olympus pixels will be discarded.
