Ok, if you crank up the NR that high then you can make a Pentax Q look as good as a 645Z. Honestly, these results you've shown are pretty meaningless as you've scrubbed all detail out of the image. DxO Prime is an excellent tool, I use it for all of my indoor sports work, but it requires a deft touch. I can see the argument that m43 punches slightly above it's weight but claiming only 1 stop difference is complete nonsense.

As I mentioned previously the settings are all defaults so I did not crank up either NR or sharpening or any other setting. You are in denial.

Wait wait wait, this is quite amazing.

I present two images showing that ISO 3200 on the EM1 looks essentially identical to ISO 12800 on the 5D3. You respond by posting two shots with such incredibly heavy noise reduction that there is zero detail left, and yes DxO Prime's defaults are very heavy handed, as evidence that there's only a stop of difference in high ISO performance between m43 and FF.

Actually DxO's NR retains details better than any other raw converter and it is not heavy handed at all. You can try Capture One with the same result. The details in the images are quite consistent with the ISO level. You are more driven by a preconceived notion of what should be rather than the actual result.

You think I'm the one in denial? I honestly am unsure if you're pulling my leg here or not.
