I find that mFT and FF actually compliment each other very well each doing well what the other lacks. If you want absolute best image quality my D810 set up delivers . If I want convenience, a camera to take everywhere and very good and easier to use video mFT wins. In scenarios where you are using the same equivalent AOV ie my Nikon 14-24 compared to the Panasonic 7-14mm it is frankly a straight clear win to FF. For longer tele work the weight savings in mFT gear { ignoring equivalence} is very great , thankfully I do not shoot long telephoto work very often { it can be an expensive photographic niche}.

For me FF has become what MF was in film days for typical day to day photography 35mm Film cameras ruled the day , with my MF gear being brought out when I was doing specific types of shooting mainly landscape. Now mFT is my 35mm film gear and the D810 my MF
