So i have 2 Cactus triggers and a couple of Nikon flashes. I tried unsucessfully to connecting my Cactus to the camera and the flash on top of the Cactus and then use the flash. It seems the Cactus trigger takes control over the flash, but there is nothing happening when i shoot with the camera.

What settings do i have to use to make this combination work?

What triggers do you use from Cactus?

I use the Cactus V6 works fine for me

Also using V6, which makes me think i have some setting the wrong way. When im trying it remote i get the 2 V6s to get contact, i can change power etc. But when i press the shutter on the camera nothing happends. I recall when i bought them i tried it out with a sb700 on the v6 on top of the camera and it worked fine.

I recently updated the x-t1 and used the settings a link here provided by a guy good at the x-t1. I just copied his settings, so maybe i cganged something from the first time i tried the V6. But i cant figure out why to be honest :(

If your using the latest firmware 3 with your X-T1, check that your not using the new hi speed shutter mode. Also check your flash mode in your camera.

ok thanks, it might be where the issue lies. I think im using Rear for the flash mode. Not sure though. I flicked around to the others now also though when trying the V6 out.

I have mine in forced flash mode and have no issues.

It was the highspeed shutter! :-D Thanks a bunch. You saved me a lot of headache by helping me with that.

Cheers man.
