Nah, these days a lot of people shoot photos of bokeh with some object of little importance planted in the foreground to accentuate the blobs that are the mainb subject.  That's why people seek lenses with the best blurriness.

AND....that's why I am going to market little tubes of vaseline with my custom logo on them for $15.00 a tube.

Lens too sharp?  Too many details in your photos?  Camera focused too precisely?  Main subject boring and poorly composed?  Get Bokeh In A Tube Composition Helper (BIATCH)  and blur your photos like never before!
