Stretching is another extreme. Joe (GB) sometimes posts good examples of people photography in wide and shallow, the combination makes those look exceptionally good.

I did a fair amount of street type photography in the past, and 75mm equivalent did always look better than say 150mm or 200mm equivalent. Of course there are tradeoffs in every combination, yet for a perfect shot I would take the wider in all cases than the narrower one.

Optics wise, the 75mm Zuiko simply blows the SEL 50mm f1.8 OSS out of the water in all aspects.

At the focal length that is less interesting.

It's sharper when @ f1.8 than the Sony is stopped down to it's sharpest aperture of f8.

Not related to elephants is .... ?
