Today's G10 Image- Using multi layer raw processing

Shot this morning

Won't go into major details of my processing workflow as I'm in transition using new techniques with processing a single raw file- but so far, the results I'm seeing are excellent. I've been incorporating area CA removal, multi layer sharpening, stuff like that. Know that my style is not heavy handed- I prefer natural as possible for almost all my processing.

Just love the edge to edge sharpness from the G10's sensor, it really gives me a case of the grins especially when I'm doing 100% enlargements. Outwards from the center you'll start to see some color fringing and CA, but it's far from bad and both are easily correctable (this image is corrected for Cyan colored CA's).

I'd be hard pressed to find a DSLR/Lens combo at 3x the original MSRP of the G10 that could match or beat the output of the G10 when properly processed. Im especially taking into account optical quality, and using the G10 at base ISO of course. If you bracket shots on a tripod and combine 3 images, you can really increase the color depth and DR- if you're so inclined- hint hint.
