I've been using this camera for about 3 weeks. I also have a Canon T2i, but since I didn't want to pay for a ridiculously big zoom for it, I got this, mostly for wildlife and nature shots. I'm impressed with the electronic viewfinder, which I use more than the LCD. Very good picture quality. Does the picture quality compare to my T2i? Well, no, but I didn't expect it to. I've enlarged up to 8x10, though, and quality is great. (Haven't printed out anything larger yet.) It's practically impossible to hand hold this camera at max zoom, but no surprise there. Controls are intuitive and easy to get to. I've owned enough Canons that I haven't had to refer to the manual much yet. (Manual focus is NOT intuitive, but everything else has been so far.) I typically shoot in AV and often change white balance, EV (+/-), ISO, aperture, self-timer, and all are quick to get to. There are more ISO choices than usual. I can't speak to the quality beyond ISO400 -- never use anything above that. When zoomed out to the max, it struggles to focus sometimes; but if you zoom out a bit, focus, then zoom in again, it usually works well. The control dial on the back is a little "flat", i.e., doesn't protrude out much from the camera, which might be hard for someone with large hands to use (I'm a woman, average sized hands). I always keep a UV filter on my lenses -- this one needs an adapter, then a 67mm filter, which means you'll need a new lens cap too. All in all, I'm impressed with this camera. It does exactly what I bought it for.
This photo has been cropped a bit (so, it appears larger than it did in the original photo), but I'm impressed the SX60 did this well!
