Yes, this lens is superb, must say this is the biggest drawback I have seen (Veiling glare) when I have been shooting with it too, can't avoid it if a bright subject is in the frame, but some contrast boost in post can fix it up.

This is a better description of what I saw. If I find a shot with the glare still on the card, I'll post with and without a contrast boost in post, as others have asked. That is a good tip about higher contrast.

I am really happy with it overall though.

This lens is a good match for the NX1 and would be great for portrait/fashion/wedding - and once I learn how to avoid situations causing the glare, outside shooting, probably not enough reach for any serious wildlife though.

Samsung should introduce teleconverter, maybe 1,7x. thuis would give ca. 400mm at f5.

Yes, this is also my main concern / my need.

A 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverter would be a nice enhancement...
