First shots with the 50-150
1

The lens has been doing great indoors.  I tried some shots of birds outside in daylight (from inside) with some variable results.  While the AF seemed fast enough to get the jumpy critters in focus before they flit away, the af area was often larger than the subject and the af could miss in favor of something in front or behind.  Also bright light seems to wash out the image with flare that looks like some sort of amp glo.  Clearly, I'm going to need more reach for wild life and this lens will become more of a portrait type.

This shot, though not the best composition, shows the lens can do some good work I think.  And I always improve with more practice on a given set of gear.

Samsung NX1, ISO 320, +3/5 bias, 150mm, f/3.5, 1/2500 shutter, pretty large crop.
