NX3000 w/16-50mm for $409 USD. Should I jump in?

OK - I have the NX300, but from what I've seen the performance of the NX3000 is similar (IQ-wise), however, the NX3000 does not have the following:

1. Self-cleaning sensor (their version of the dustbuster) - it is omitted

2. Touch screen capabilities. The touch screen on the NX300 can spoil you and not having it on the NX3000 reflects the fact that it's a simple entry level unit.

A good reason to not buy the NX3000.

I'm sure there are other smaller items or performance parameters that are missing on the NX3000 (compared to the NX300), but my not having one, I can't answer that.

But keep this in mind - that getting both the camera and 16-50 PZ lens for only $400 is dirt cheap, IMO. The lens itself costs $350, so in essence, you're getting the camera for only $50 or so bucks.

Other than that, I can't help you. My apologies again - I had quickly read your post and I thought it was the NX300 that you are talking about.
