Thanks for the nice photo.

They sure did screw up the 4 way toggle. I had thought about super glue but couldn't get the nerve up, to make it permanent. Your hot glue is a great idea because it is reversible. I like it.

On a positive note, the dedicated EC button with the thumb wheel on top, is a big plus.

Happy New Year.

Ken what do you mean by "the dedicated EC button" ?

It is the button right above the 4 way toggle ring. It is the button with the little blue trash can icon next to it. EC stands for Exposure Correction. It has a white + and - on it.

I did misspeak when I called the wheel on top, a thumb wheel. it is not a thumb wheel. I meant the wheel on top next to the shutter button. Canon calls this the "Front Dial"

In between shots, one can press the EC button and use the"Front Dial" to adjust the brightness of the next shot. This adjusting of EC, is used frequently by many.

On the SX50, this EC button was part of the 4 way toggle ring, which was not a bad location, but the SX60's location is just easier to operate.

Sorry for the confusion, I need to explain things better.
