Re: T5i, T5 or Sl1...I'm upgrading from an 8yr old Olympus!

I have asked some time ago and some forum member told me that they typically carry two different cameras one for things up close and others for distance.  Those that are professional photographers always carry two in case one fails, nothing like a camera breaking down during a photo shoot and having a law suit as a result.  I had an experience similar to the amateur having two cameras: I had a wild bunny hop up to my front door and examine my family and I some time ago.  I went for my DSLR, which typically has my wide angel lens got off a shot or two then tried to get the zoom lens in and it took to long.  If I had multiple cameras, one for wide angel and one for zoom I could of gotten the perfect shot with the zoom lens.  I don't know if I could find an excuse for three, unless one of them was my point and shoot/dslr hybrid Canon Power Shot SX510HS, its a point and shoot that acts like a DSLR, I bought that one for instances where I would need something to hide in my coat pocket or instances where size matters and so far it has been quite handy for that.

As far as 8 year old Olympus, mine is ten years old and its still going strong.  The only reason  that I am thinking of an upgrade is that there are a lot of modern technologies that I am willing to pay the dollars for.  Eight year old camera is not that old in my book.
