Having owned a Nikon D5200 with really great low light performance and high sensor score on DxO Mark, I can say with confidence that low light performance of NX300 (and consequently NX3000) should absolutely be better than just "acceptable" and is reasonably good for APS-C. I wouldn't use JPEG out of camera for it, but processed RAW is fine up to ISO3200 for low light indoor shots of people and objects

My personal opinion, having owned a d7000 is that files on the nikon one have a more appealing grain (to me) and better shadow response when pushed. Also chroma noise is little bit less noticeable. Highlight range are about the same in my opinion, with nikon highlight clipping being a little much abrupt than on the Samsung sensor.
