Advice needed for my E-P5, it's driving me nuts
4

I got my E-P5 a month ago and just couldn’t figure out what was wrong, I consistently got unsharp images.

First I thought it was you know what and indeed, after the FW- update and setting to 0 sec. it got a lot better. But then the weather was getting better and I started using it more and consistently got really a lot of unsharp images again. So I thought it was still the SS problem. Thing is, on a tripod it was all ok again, with and without OIS on (btw these tripod shots were all f 5.6 and larger).

Today I tried changing the aperture and voilà, it was the first time I could reproduce when I get good and when bad images. It turns out everything above 5,6 is no good.

I have some samples here, the originals are all uploaded to my gallery:

So can it be that in mFT f7 is already too much? And what is it? Diffraction? The big BUT is this: I got some great f11 shots with the same lenses (the kit lens 14-42mm and the 9-18mm). BTW, P mode will often chose f8 or f 11.

Bottom line: I have no clue what’s going on and this camera is driving me crazy, first time that’s happened with a camera.

Any thoughts? Please take a look at the samples.

Maybe it has something to do with the OIS system after all. I had it on the S-IS1 (auto) setting all the time for these samples.
