t4i Video recording problem: Busy

I'm new to my camera, a Canon EOS Rebel T4i.

When I shoot video, regardless of format, it seems to record fine. But the problem is, when I stop recording, the camera seems to lock up. It provides the message "Busy" on the front facing display no matter what button is pressed.

Here's what I have tried:

1.) Purchased a Lexar 64gb Class 10 Micro SD (with SD adapter)

2.) Formatted (Low and high level) using the Canon itself

3.) Set the camera to servo mode focus, and also tried single point focus

4.) I recorded a 1 Minute video in 1080p 30FPS, and left the camera sitting "busy". After about 1 hour and 45 minutes of being "Busy", the camera battery was about to run out, so I pulled it to recharge.

Any help that anyone can provide would be appreciated! I have seen posts by others about this, but their fixes don't seem to do anything for me.

Canon EOS Rebel T4i (EOS 650D / EOS Kiss X6i)
