35mm example of the difference between 1.4 and f2

hey all, I am looking at a 35 millimeter and have been debating between the Sigma 1.4 and the Canon f2. Sharpness goes to the sigma, but the canon is no slouch. Build quality does too, but the canon is good enough for me. Size and weight goes to canon as does price. IS is a nice addition especially for video. But the one thing I can't get over is that 1.4 vs f2. Can anybody point me to an example of the difference between these apertures with subject isolation? Or could someone post an example? I've never owned a 35mm so I have no frame of reference for it. Thank you!
