I just saw graphs and DR numbers of NX1 and from estimation, NX1 is barely slightly behind D7100. I assume those are jpeg DR numbers? but nonetheless it's good information.

base ISO is where strength of D7100 is with about slightly a bit over 1 stop advantage at ISO 100. from there advantage of D7100 is reduced to 1/3 stop or less and even equal to NX1 on some instances or sensitivity levels. mind you that test conducted do not illustrated actual measurement of sensitivity level but estimation along manufactured ISO so please take grain of salt. but from what I gathered, results should be very close. around a stop at base iso, and very slight below D7100 on all remaining levels. very impressive for me considering pixel density of 28MP.

signal to noise ratio though is still unknown although I would expect along similar lines with D7100 but we will see. other numbers are still mystery.

DR numbers very much play accordingly and consistent with most reviews. NX1 excelling at ISO 100-800. ISO 1600-3200 is very good and ISO 6400 to good and acceptable maybe around 12-16MP estimate. not too much on ISO 12800 but could be useable in 1/3 resolution of 28MP or 7-9 MP.

I notice consistency of DR performance of NX1 from ISO 100-800 at high DR level. ranging from 1/3 to 1.5 stops better than NX30. ISO 1600-3200 range from a bit over 1 stop to 1.5 stops. ISO 6400 and 12800 is where NX1 seem to drop significantly in performance but still a bit better than NX30 with 1/2 to 1/3 stop better.

from what it seems, BSI seems to increase light gathering capability of sensor. it does somehow able to handle heavy pixel density effectively. I can only imagine if this was 20MP sensor, maybe could have been far much more DR, maybe even rival one of the better and current FF cameras at High ISO. although I think BSI would really shine a lot from base to mid-high ISO (definite at 1600-3200, maybe even at 6400 with some tweaking).
