Some images from Sony 70-200 F4, Sony A6000 combo.

just sharing some of the images I took few days back from my new Sony A6000 with the Sony FE 70-200 F4 lens.

Few things I observed from the camera lens combination -

1. The Focus is generally fast but it takes time (1.5 sec) to come from infinity to closer (5 meters).

2. Focus is very quite though.

3. The lens is not too heavy and it looks ok on the a6000.I did not use tripod for the pictures.

4. The Continuous AF on this camera is awesome. I did not use the high speed shooting because I accidentally put 8 gb card on the camera instead of 32 gb. I shoot RAW+JPEG. AF tracks the subject well. However if you are shooting birds, wide open, sometimes it focuses on wings rather than eyes. The shallow DOP is ok on this lens.

5. I noticed that lens do not lock perfectly when mounted on the camera. I mean there is a little rotation left which makes me feel the lens is little insecure :). This can be ignored as the lens functions completely ok with the camera. Has anyone else noticed the same thing ?

6. In terms of a6000 handling/fun to use, I will put it behind my olympus e-m10. The e-m10 is more fun to use. Build quality is same as e-m10 which is nice.

I am still shooting with the camera/lens and so far I love it. I am waiting for samyang 12mm f2 lens and will post more pictures later.
