Yes, the X-T1 is faster than the X-E1.

The 56mm has worse lag than the 35mm, but both lenses are slow-performers no matter what camera they are attached to. Both lenses seem to find it difficult to focus quickly in low-medium lighting, and a swap to manual focus to bypass teh focussing slowness, just then reveals this other in-lens aperture stop-down lag... Not real great right now for anyone needing instance response...

We'll see if my report goes anywhere near to help. I really love the Fuji system, but this lag causes me to miss shots that normally I would get with even an older SLR...
