Rob, so if you are trying to say we can't explain in a short reply everything they need to know on how to take "great photos every single time" with these cameras...well, that is true. But we can help them get started. Note also that I mentioned changing the flash to 1/200th of a second in the menu. Of course, there's also flash compensation and other flash accessories that we could talk about.

I also wrote:

"To learn about how to change all of these settings, see the internet. There may be some people that will describe it on YouTube."

Bluevellet has a lot of different cameras and I assume has lots of experience. Bluevellet should be able to help this other person with our suggestions on how to get started and change the settings further. If a consumer that doesn't understand how to operate these cameras was doing this completely by themselves, you have a point...they would most likely have a difficult time at first. But Bluevellet has offered to help. See the original post.

If Bluevellet did not help any further after setting it up, then what you are saying is more understandable. I expected that Bluevellet would continue with the help. It only makes sense to me that a photographer like Bluevellet would not just set up the camera for the friend and then "run away". Obviously a photographer knows better, even if they are not familiar with the Canon brand.
