A couple of thoughts...

Were you shooting hand-held, I find some of the stabilisers are better than others. For example the 12-35 is excellent but the 35-100 throws in little shimmers every so often?

Secondly panning is always likely to cause some juddering, depending on frame rate and shutter speed.

It is possible 1/30th a sec might be a magic number, as it takes about 1/45th of a second (I've seen a test suggesting 1/60th BTW, which is even more interesting) to read the sensor (the full sensor takes about 1/22.5 but we're only reading 8MP not 16). Note this isn't the same as the shutter speed, all the pixels get the shutter speed you asked for, it's just the bottom of the sensor is exposed/read out 1/45th of a sec after the top.
