NX3000 with 18-55mm: Happiness

You don't really need good gear for sharp photos, you need good light.  Studio photographers are often the worst at spreading this fud because they buy fancy gear, like full frame cameras, which honestly are not necessary at all for this type of photography where you shoot at f/5.6 or f/8 (f/8 or f/11 with full frame).  I am not saying there is not a purpose for those great cameras, just in the situation with studio lighting it isn't as important, like the NX3000 doesn't focus near as well as my NX30, it was ticking me off because it was actually fairly dark where this shot was taken.

I would usually do this shot in color, but was doing some B&W thing on Facebook so used it instead.  This lighting was actually set up for something else my wife was doing which is why I was using NX3000 and kit (otherwise would have been NX30 and 16-50 S).  Sorry, this JPEG is not the best quality so there are some artifacts.

ISO 400, kit 55mm, f/5.6, Key (f/8 and 24x36" soft box) with fill (f/5.6 and 24x36" soft box) and two backdrop lights (f/8-11).
