You might remember me when I was using the Sony H2 (I used other cameras before that also). I then used Olympus DSLR cameras for about four years. So, yes I have been upgrading. I'm hardly stuck in the past.

Not stuck in the distant past, but presently there are Rebels that offer improved autofocus compared to the T2i (esp for action subjects). That's always been my point. When people ask, I offer my expertise, just as you do.

I just don't think Canon has improved enough with their Canon DSLR Rebel cameras after the Canon T2i (550D) introduction.

Everyone must perform their own cost/benefit analysis. That's yours.

For me, the much higher keeper percentage is worth it.

I'm not bashing the T2i. It's still as fine a camera as it was before the T3i, the T4i, the SL1, the T5i, the 60D, the 70D, the 6D, the 5D3, the 1Dx, and now the 7D2.

I'm still shooting with the T4i and 70D. But I acknowledge that there are newer cameras out there that will outperform them. I'll just keep doing my best (just as you do).

Then there's that new 100-400... Bwahahahahaha

Happy shooting,

R2
