SX60/SX50, ISO 200 indoor test samples (2)
3

Just two samples, so no big test here. (My schedule doesn't allow much of this fun stuff.)

I wanted to try a more controlled test this time. Its indoors and artificial, but some readers might feel more comfortable with this. This is not my test of choice, but the weather has not been cooperating since I received the SX60 anyhow, so no harm done.

I am using ISO200 this time, just to not replicate what I have already done. Also ISO 200 is an often used ISO setting that is a good practical compromise.

I still choose to use this same bill as a subject, because it has a variety of fine detail, soft hues, and is really designed to foil attempts to be copied on most copy devices. In other words a tough subject.

The following is the same for both cameras.

Note: distance is 20ft. (earlier tests where at 16ft) Using full optical zoom.

Note: the exif data is equal. Real exposure maybe not so much. SOOC

NR is Low

Custom Colors is set to neutral.

Metering is set to spot.

IS is off. Tripod mounted.

Lights where hot and consistent.

WB is set to tungsten.

Set to Super Fine

Lens is centered and focused on Franklin's left eye.

Use these as you please. Thanks for viewing.

Ken
