Well, it seems I just spent 28€ on a yongnuo RF603 NII set for nothing. I tested in by hand and my nikon sb900 flashes. On my broken D7000 (it can take pictures, the focus is no longer working nad most lenses give an error reading, nevermind, that issue is for another thread) it also does what it has to do. But once installed on the samsung in manual mode, on different speed settings, it doesn't do anything. Apart from giving a constant red signal on both devices.

As soon as I disconnect from the Samsung, everything works again when I press the test button on the TX part. Pity. On the other hand, on my next nikon (someday, someday) these Yongnuon's will do just fine.

The setup, only red lights here

Okay, have you tried moving the position of the transmitter? I have to move mine slightly backward in the hot shoe in order for it to make proper contact. Also, the flash must be in manual mode and your shutter speed must be 1/160 or slower.
