Does the video show jitter, even with OIS off, and on a tripod? Does the jitter diminish if the shutter speed is higher?

When in a good tripod, no jitter OIS on and off. Yes jitter with a weak tripod and OIS on.

Does the jitter issue appear independent of whether one shoots in 4k, 1080p, or at one bitrate or another? Same under bright or dim conditions? Wide or zoom? Problem the same at 60p, 30p, or 60i?

I have shooted thousands of clips with GH4 and that lens. 60P, 50P, 30P, fullhd and 4k. Different apertures, shutter speeds, focal lengths and focusing distances. Handheld and with a rig. The vibration is always there in stationary shots. When panning or moving camera the movement mainly hides the jitter. If I shoot 1/25s or 1/30s the motion blur hides also partly the issue.

I described in detail what I did. With a GH3 (the camera I said I used), there is obviously no way to know about 4K. I don't find this issue significant enough to run a series of tests. It's enough to know that under the conditions I described in some detail, there is visible jitter. I leave it to others to find the precise conditions (if any) under which the jitter can be avoided.

No way to avoid that jitter other than a good tripod. A big mystery to me is why people cant see that vibration. Why buy GH3/GH4 class camera and not care about video quality.
