14mm and 11mm together!

The Pana 14mm is one of my favourite lenses. I recommend it. It has strengths:

  • Really small
  • Nice image rendering with good contrast, and deep tones (not clinical at all!)
  • Sharp enough
  • Good all-rounder

And weaknesses:

  • Strong CA in demanding situations (tree branches against sky and so on)
  • Won't be extremly sharp when stopped down
  • Pronounced vignetting, however, I rather like this

And you can attach the Panasonic Wide Angle Converter Lens, and you will have a 11mm f2.5 (or so) lens as well! I do this regularly, and I am really statisfied with the results. Of course the converter lens has even more aberrations, and sharpness towards the edges falls behind, however, I compensate this with careful post processing. It delivers really decent results for just a little money.

Regarding the lenses you mention, the 9-18mm is quite large, and the Olympus 17mm f/1.8 is expensive.

The Sigma 19mm lens is also fairly large, and not a top performer, in my experience:

The Lumix 14mm I like quite a lot. It is small, compact, performs well, focuses fast, and appears quite solid.
