I am surprised no one has mentioned the 15mm Panasonic-Leica so far. If you're willing to pay for quality, this is the sharpest wide lens available. Both it and the 12mm Zuiko are matched for sharpest wide prime at the center, but the 15mm has better corner sharpness at all apertures.

You can find the 17mm Zuiko 1.8 for cheaper today, definitely, and both lenses are matched in most respects - both have exquisite build quality, color, contrast, and bokeh. But the 15mm stands out for better sharpness, particularly at the corners, at every aperture.

To me, you can hardly go wrong with any of these 3 primes, though (meaning 12mm, 17mm metal Zuikos and 15mm PL). I own the 17mm myself and am constantly struck by how this lens injects a livelihood to any subject it captures, even in seemingly dull conditions. I can't be bothered 'trading up' to the 15mm, because I'm very pleased by the results I get with it.
