Call sound quality question

Third of three questions I'm posting.

I am very deaf and can barely hear phone calls. I currently have an iPhone 4S and I use two hearing aids and find it best to remove one and press the iPhone against the ear.

I have 90-100% high frequency hearing loss, between 50% and 70% mid frequency loss and around 10-25% low frequency loss.

I can't find in any reviews a proper review of how good the actual phone receiving sound is on various phones. Does anyone know if one phone has a better sound than the other please, or are there any handsets I should avoid?

Because of cost I am thinking of moving away from an iPhone, and the Android options, in order, are the LG G3, HTC One (M8) and Sony Z3

I will ask one other related question - do different networks have better sound quality than others, or is the network irrelevant? I'm in the UK and currently with EE (Orange). It looks like my best price LG G3 option would be with O2.

I live in a rural area and only have G2 reception anyway. Where I work it's G3 and when I go to a city (usually Leeds or Manchester) where there is G4 there is usually a inner city wifi network that is blocking the G4 reception anyway and making me login to their cloud (really annoying!).

Thanks for any advice.
