NX2000 Video Exposure Compensation

I know this will sound silly, but it has been driving me crazy:

Is there any way to set the exposure compensation during video recording in NX2000, especially in aperture priority mode? I know you can adjust the aperture value during recording using the wheel, and it shows an exposure gauge right next to it, but there is no way to adjust that. If you adjust compensation before recording, it is reset when the recording starts (except in the Program mode, in that mode the last adjustment stays, but you cannot change it once you start the recording)

There is not much information displayed while recording, the compensation gauge taking the most space on the screen. And it is not there for warning (under or over exposure) as it never changes. I tried it with the cap on, at f22, even then it wasn't showing any red under-exposure warnings. So why is it there?

Any help will be a great step towards preserving my sanity, or whatever is left of it...
