Re: I have funds for either NX30 or Galaxy NX? or 85mm f1.4? Opinions please

as no one wants to speak up for the Galaxy...my turn
From the point of pure image quality i believe the JPEG out of the Galaxy compared to the NX30 are a but better at low ISO, a but worse at high ISO, RAW.. well not that much of a difference.
I do have some NX body, the one that is the most special is by far the GN120. I use the NX30 when ever I am doing some "serious" shooting (I am not doing this for a living, but some pictures of mine get into some local news papers from time to time)
Whenever I am on vacation, I prefer the Galaxy...
Why:
> unlimited battery (at least that is how you feel when you us it)
> The computing vpower of the GN120 gets me better results on the smart modes (yepp... I am using them but only on the Galaxy....)
> you do not need a smartphone, you do not need a tab, you do not need a Wifi Hotspot for tethering your wifes S3.....4G can be really fast.
> i feel better when I know that the track my mobile service works with my camera and I can find it when I might have lost it....
> it was never easier to tag your images with GPS
> the face of those staring at you when you look at your cameras screen... priceless
> when they -with a grin- ask you if you can take call with your camera and you open WhatsApp and chat with your buddies...
One note:
keep the NX3000 and not the EX2 as the 1650PZ is not the best partner for the Galaxy....as the firmware does not team best with exactly that lens....
Cheers, Tjobbe
P.S. the NX30 is a way more serious camera... believe me
P.P.S. you will have more fun with the Galaxy
