Haven't much time. This pole has some detail to see at real life distances. (about 65-75 yards.)

These are jpgs SOOC. No raw or PP.

Cloudy day for todays shot from the SX60, vs sunny for the winter shot of the SX50. Winter air was more clear and dry. Used a little table top tripod for the SX60 today. The SX50 was on a full sized tripod back when ever that was.

Every time I take these pole shots I shoot about 50 shots each, and just use the sharpest. This weeds out the air currents and unexplained camera movement and focus issues. I use settings to show the white lettering with as little flare possible.

I see not much difference other then a little more noise in the SX60.

I have used this pole for my DSLRs also. Which I posted just for fun.

How I personally measure the success is like this. I just see which shot allows me to read the most of the instructions on the pole.

I am sure better comparisons will come along.

Feel free to download and use as you please.
