Canon 600D - Video Quality Issue

Hey guys,

I've been a long time lurker of this site. Found a lot of useful information over the past few months. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find much relating to my long term problem.

Basically, regardless of; lens (Canon 18-135/18-55/50mm), location, exposure, distance, picture style settings, the video quality coming out of the camera looks aesthetically horrendous. Nothing what it should look like. Even using heavy amounts of editing, I can't seem to get a clear, sharp, crisp picture. I shouldn't have to edit my footage heavily though!

Below is some unedited footage that I took last week with the 18-135mm. All of my footage has this hazy, "eurgh" look to it.

Finally, to add to this (whether this is related or not), but when filming, the card will randomly stop shooting if there's some movement/significant light changes. I understand that if your card can't keep up, the camera will kill the video. I bought the Sandisk 32Gb 30Mb/s Class 10 to prevent this from happening.

Any advice into the matter would be greatly appreciated,

Chris
