Re: please help a dummy

There are fuji lenticular labs around. The two ones in dresden calculate additional 8-10 images. finest lens has 100lpi. camex3d-lens is 160lpi. superfine. There is a relation between size, lpi and 3d-effect. i have a print from an older lenticular companies or pre camex/lo3d(all the same) made with simple two-lens cam. and it looked very sharp and good. subject was quite near.  the testshots which i have seen from camex3d-super1-cam(shown at recent photokina) are with mixed emotion.

these 30/60mm bases maybe be good for close-distances but not 6-8m.

doing lenticular-printing yourself is time and nerve-consuming. If you have the patience to learn a lot. I dont know if it is possible to print 100lpi-sheets yourself. these labs have special paper with built-in lens only useable with special very expensive printers. the one from camex3d costs 50000 usd.

I would have an eye on coming 3dmediaplayer or tables. Nintendo will offer(first in japan-october 2014) its new improved 3DS new XL with integrated 3d-cam. I have seen from older XL and was impressive.
