Rather than shooting Trial and Error on your camera to get the right WB shift, you can use a Raw shot and open it with Raw Image Task and play with the settings on your computer.

To open up Raw Image task, first Open up Zoom browser EX, select the thumbnail of your raw shot, click the Edit button on the left in the Tasks box, then click Process Raw images.

Once you've opened up the Raw shot in Raw Image Task you can see all the WB options as well as two sliders, one that goes from B to A and the other that goes from G to M. These WB sliders correspond exactly to the WB shift in the camera. So once you've found the right WB setting for your raw shot, you can set the same value in the camera for the same results.
