Panasonic 14-140 II OIS jitters when shooting video
5

Very difficult to shoot video with GH4 and 14-140 II handheld? POWER OIS adds fast micro jitter to otherwise stable video. Example:

That is not my video but I have made some tests:

I have the same kit and I have a huge problem of shooting video handheld. Video vibrates and jitters badly even at widest position 14mm. Is there somebody with the same problem. I dont know sure if this issue is in every lens or is there lots of bad copies. If this issue is in every lens we must ask Panasonic to make a FW update to fix that.

I contacted Panasonic Europe and I told my issue. I am now waiting for an answer. My store where I bought the lens contacted Panasonic too but not answer yet. One problem is that I cant find any other demo piece of that lens to test.

I have made a same kind of topic in Digital video talk but there seems to be little interest.

Sorry for repeating my issue here but I dont know what I must do. FW update would be best and it would help if that issue is well known.

I think that if someone has that lens and it vibrates like my examples it is easy to see. Shoot handheld stationary video at 14mm.

Can we tolerate that bad quality of very expensive lenses?
