I am after something for portraits and general telephoto when I don't want to carry the 70-200 2.8. What are the pros and cons of each of these?

I have never owned the 85mm or 200mm macro. But I do own the 135mm f2 and it is by far the best lens I have ever owned. It definitely has the wow factor. The only thing I dislike is that it does not have IS so you need to shoot minimum 1/120th or 1/160th to be safe. But if it did have IS, IQ probably would have been compromised so I don't mind. Most of the time after buying a new lens I'm left feeling a little bit flat. But with this one, I just couldn't believe what I was seeing it was that good. Super crisp wide open which is very rare. And paired with my 6D, perfect autofocus every time with a +2 micro adjustment.
