Darn EPM2 - it just makes it hard to justify spending more than $199 on any new camera.

Just think - you`ll be free of shutter shock if you get the LX100 -

.

Seriously, the EPM2 is fantastic value even in the UK ! . it`s an EPL5 minus the catch-everything in the bag mode dial and "doesn`t-flip-much" screen . you`ve got 16 EM5 quality Megapixels (as opposed to LX100`s 12 point something) and a choice of lenses (as you said) .......

Everyone is gushing about the LX100`s lens speed but it still remains to be seen how good it is wideopen in RAW - everyone is banking on it NOT being like the G1X Mk2, the lens on which is regarded as soft wideopen negating the speed increase over the tack-sharp wideopen optic the Mk1 had ......... if the LX`s lens looks like a bodycap lens when shot wideopen then you'll be glad you stuck with the EPM2 ..

we`re all hoping that it's great wideopen, even those of us not interested in the cam as it means Panasonic are stepping up their optics designs and we all benefit that
